How to Delete
Your Browser Cache in IE 7 or Firefox
When you visit a website, your browser will
store a copy of the page, text as well as images, on your
local machine. This is the browser's cache.
This is done so that the browser does not have to retrieve
the page each time you visit it. The problem is that when
you visit a website, it may not be the most recent version.
If your cache gets too big, your browser performance will
become slower. It is recommended to clear your web browser's
cache on a weekly basis for casual browsing and on a daily
basis for heavy browsing.
Also, another important reason to clear your 'entire' browser
cache in IE 7 (see: fig. #3) is to delete any sensitive data
that remains stored in your browser that might be recorded
by any malware applications such as key-loggers.
